I have long enjoyed target shooting with both archery and pistol. I don’t talk about this much because firearms are such a fraught topic in political discourse. This post is not about politics, it simply shares some observations I’ve had over time about things that are useful.
DefGrip – these are classified as grip wraps. They can take a grip that is lacking in grip or is overly stippled to the point of being uncomfortable, and make it a joy to hold and improve the grip quality. It’s hard to describe the texture exactly; it is soft, has slight give like a very thin rubber, but is not at all tacky and feels a bit like skin. It absorbs water, but does not become slick when wet. They are particularly nice for pistols like the M&P Shield X which have (in my view) overly aggressive stippling. https://defgripusa.com
